I'm sleepin' in

I am officially on vacation! I get 9 whole days of bliss before I have to return to work. People always say "you have the easiest job...you get off at 3:30 and have the whole summer off". Well let me tell you...there is a reason why we get so much time off. I love my job and I couldn't ask for a better fit, but it is physically and emotionally draining working with kids all day, every day. If it wasn't for these breaks, I don't think that school employees could last so long. We need to decompress...which is exactly what I plan on doing...on my couch!

And the winner is....

ME! This week I had an all out, to the death tug-of-war match with the crazy bush in my front yard. I am happy to report, that it is gone! I don't have a clue as to what it was, but it was all tangled together and overgrown. I have had the gardening bug lately and I pulled out a bunch of lackluster plants, and the stupid bush, to clear the way for some new flowers that will be planted in the next few weeks. I will post more pictures as my project progresses.
